Osteopathy in Good Hands
-Rwanda

My journey began in November 2024, when I volunteered with Osteopathy Without Borders in Rwanda. Together with a dedicated team, we organized mobile clinics in different regions, provided osteopathic treatments, and taught physiotherapists at the University of Kigali.

This country, its people, and the vision behind the project touched me deeply. Out of this experience grew the desire to create something lasting. That’s how the idea was born to establish a rotating osteopathic practice in Kigali.

The concept is simple: I invite osteopaths from around the world to come to Kigali for a certain period and offer treatments in the existing facilities.

Participation is on an independent basis – rent and expenses are covered individually. The current rate per treatment is about €42. However, since around 56% of the population lives in extreme poverty, I also offer free treatments and support local social projects with osteopathy on my days off.

Together with physiotherapist and dear friend Peter Kaberuka, as well as my colleague Alina Kremser, I am currently in the process of founding an official association:

Osteopathy in Good Hands

The aim of this association is to strengthen and expand long-term osteopathic care in Rwanda, foster professional collaboration, and provide a sustainable foundation for the project.

Our shared mission is to build lasting osteopathic care in Rwanda and make a meaningful contribution to the well-being of the people there.

Every financial contribution helps us move closer to that goal. Donations directly support rent, transportation, extra luggage, and medical equipment.
